Boba Fett (Elektrospółdzielnia & unarticulated series)
The bounty hunter Boba Fett is one of the celebrite characters of the Star Wars galaxy. We were lucky in Poland to have a bootleg of Boba, made in the middle 80's. The movable figure belongs to the first generation of Elektrospółdzielnia series, with the limbs of Kenner's Biker Scout figure. It has appeared in several color variants, molded of light grey, grey, dark grey or greenish rubber. Soon it served as a matrice for a nonmovable version, produced in the late 80's, which is one of the most colorful line of all Polish bootlegs.
In the 90's Fett was still produced basing on the Elektrospółdzielnia molds. The rarer variant from this period is a beautiful figure without painted boots and hands. This item has the closest to Kenner painting use. The more common versions was similar to those from the 80's. There were some differences though between them: no older item had painted belt or knee for example. The latest wave, made probably at the beginning of 21st century, has a black painting on gloves.
